Darius Beach drafted
Senior captain and tight end Darius Beach is not done playing football. Beach, an instrumental part in the turnaround of Ole Miss football, became the first player drafted in the Micheal Hawkins era when he was drafted in the 5th round (#176 overall) by the Carolina Panthers. Beach will likely begin his career at the NAFL affiliate of the Panthers in Raleigh. Beach was ecstatic when he got the call from Carolina, saying to Ole Miss reporters that it was "a dream come true". His decision to attend Ole Miss has not only helped to rebuild the program, but has now landed him a professional opportunity. We wish Darius the best of luck with the Carolina Panthers franchise this season and beyond.

Team Arrives on Campus
OXFORD, MS - Since ending the 2060 season with a convincing 41-14 win over arch-rival Mississippi State, Ole Miss Head Coach Michael Hawkins has been preparing for the 2061 season intensely. The first game of the regular season at Rice is quickly approaching, and the Rebels are gearing up for a run at the postseason. The position battles have been settled and the roster has been finalized. Hawkins named the starting eleven on both sides of the ball, confirmed the three captains, and the red-shirts and walk-ons were announced. This is the most talented group Hawkins has had to work with during his time here in Oxford, and expectations are deservedly high following a second consecutive 5-7 season (4-5 SEC).
